The effectiveness of learning to improve students' higher-order thinking skills

Higher-order thinking skills (HOT) are expected to be needed now and in the future. Many learning strategies applied increase HOT. However, how effective is this improving students' HOT abilities? This study will examine improve skills. We use meta-analysis research techniques analyze quantitatively. have selected 21 articles from 60 Google Scholars that models, media, science assessments Heterogeneity analysis (trim-fill, funnel plot approach, Z value calculation) was used prove absence of publication bias. Forest showed an average effectiveness 0.32 on moderate effect. It shows supported by for using methods, assessment. These factors proven abilities.
